RisingNet has installed the new Internet connection to better the service of all there hosting clients. The 1.5mb/s connection is a T3 line supplied by the Concentric backbone. RisingNet will supply equal speed to all of it's users and will make sure they have the same speed, stability and reliable connection to the Internet they have come to expect from RisingNet. We will monitor our bandwidth and upgrade the server and connection if we think that more speed is needed. RisingNet is here to make your web site be online 24/7.

RisingNet has installed a new ON-SITE firewall system to protect your shell and web hosting accounts. All packets will be filter on-site and protected by our firewall system. RisingNet is still working on the firewall system with the upstream provide for protecting our/your network from Denial of Service attacks.

RisingNet just upgraded to a new connection and a new router system. We currently left USWEST as our ISP and we lease a new Tier 1 fiber-optic IP backbone from ATT@home. The backbone of our connection is 5Gbps or dual OC48 which sounds fast enough. Hopefully with our new connection, we will server you better. Also, RisingNet will keep upgrading our server system and our connection at the customers demand.
